Plans for our multi-sided platform are accelerating! Our Commercial Partnerships team is looking for an experienced commercial leader to own the full-scale development and management of Checkatrade’s B2B initiative. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Partnerships Director to build a strategy for launching a fully encompassing B2B proposition within Checkatrade's ecosystem. B2B is a currently underserved and under-scaled part of the business which provides a huge opportunity for monetisation. You’ll play a key part in building a value-add marketplace offer that drives incremental revenue and best in class trade experience. Sounds good? Get in touch!
Location: London (minimum of 4 days in the office).
Where do you fit in?
You’ll report to the Commercial Partnership Director and will be responsible for strategic planning and delivery for launching a B2B vertical within Checkatrade ecosystem. You’ll own this exciting 0-100 project from business development to customer onboarding and account management. You’ll work cross functionally across the business including legal, wider commercial, tech and product. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for strategic planning and delivery of the proof of concept and beyond, obtaining full business buy in prior to tech/ product implementation. What do you need to succeed?
- Be experienced in creating a strategic plan and delivering a successful business vertical in a product-driven company.
- Your background will be in commercial operations & business development including experience managing high level accounts and executives.
- You’ll be skilled in financial modelling.
- You’ll also be comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to simplify the complex.
